just a thought on players. if we could get more players involved we may be able to get more games going, if you look at gloom, its the number of players that makes games almost constant, not that people are getting together at the same times every day (though this is true as well). SO heres the point, rally more players. maybe post on some q3 forums, make some comments on IRC, do what you can. for the most part i usually see myself, norf, molog and wind_rider playing on the non-friday games.
on a side note: balance is interesting in this newest release... but i dont see it as a point to quit. i set up a small lan game with 2 friends, they played humans and i played aliens. the game went pretty well for awhile till i managed to become dragoon and bleed all their creds. on the server it seamed to be different, the humans seam to have the upperhand most of the time, though they often couldnt win right away. there also seamed to be a few bugs though i have nothing specific to say about them (having not experianced them)
