Error before connecting to servers

Hi

This just happened this morning, out of the blue, i have not made any changes to settings, my PC, etc.

Whenever i run trem and click on play, the server browser comes up like always, but there are no servers.

I then click on Refresh List, and game closes, and the Blue Console window pops up and gives me this error message:

Code: [Select]

Sys_SendPacket: bad address type

The same thing happens no matter what i click in the server browser, except "get new list"

No idea what caused it and would like to know, and also how to fix it without reinstallation.


By the way, i'm using TJW's backport on Windows if that matters.

EDIT: After clicking "get new list". refresh works with no errors too, but i still cant change source to my favourites.  


EDIT2: Everything works except i cant view my Favourites now, i can go through local and internet, but as soon as i try to change to Favourites i get the error.

What do you mean?

I havent changed a thing on Tremulous since i first installed it, only changed ingame settngs like brightness and resolution, but that was 2 months ago.

and this suddenly happened today.
