q1 i did a deddicated server and found that my servers were appearing in the lan list how do i make it appear in the internet?(this must be nswered!!)

q2. how do i set my admin parameters

q3. how do i edit stuff like bps and the  maps in the rota?

I am also curious since my clan has the same first two questions. These two  aren't in the maual either maci, maybe you should read it; it's a good 10 minute read. We also password protected our server so we could figure everything out before making it public but when I joined, it just let me in without prompting me for the password (on lan).

you probably forgot to set g_needpass 1

What's the IP? 192.168.x.x or 172.16.x.x thru 172.31.x.x or 10.x.x.x? Then you'll have to set up NAT and port forwarding on your router.

ok i have no idea for the first 1 but for 2 and 3 do this

for 2 go to your other post, "2 questions for seting up admin"  i told you how to do it there

For three these are some cool codes that may help

(race)stage 3 = g_(race)stage 2    (yes its 2 not 3 and where race is put Human or alien)

(race)build points = g_(race)buildpoints 9999  (same thing with the race)

To edit your map.cfg go to the place where you instaled tremulous
look for a file called maprotation.cfg then open it

This should be by defult not openable but tell it to open it with any program like notepad.

then you will see a list of maps put the name of any others you want in there.

how do I set up a Nat I only have zonealarm no router.

Oh you should have no problems then, just allow zone alarm to allow trem to host a server and that should do it
