« on: January 09, 2007, 08:28:26 pm »
my school allows access to the trem master server, but only throught a proxy on 192.168.0.1...

does trem have a proxy function built into it?

You most likely want to start trem with these on the command line but I've gotten it to work via the console and a restart
+set net_socksEnabled 1
+set net_socksServer
+set net_socksPort
+set net_socksUsername
+set net_socksPassword

the school deoesn't have a socks proxy, i'm sure of it because i had gotten through it earlier...

they now have block all bu port 80 and 3128 -- 80 for the webserver and 3128 for squid.

every app can use any address aside from hotmail, but they need to directly specify they should use server 192.168.0.1:3128 for any requests to the outside internet(red zone)

i tried it anyway and trem freezes on a black screen -- on a pc. on a mac there are still "command not found" errors.
