« on: January 20, 2007, 06:06:21 am »
Ok, maybe not... planetquake reported it a bit wrong I thinks...
Just thought it might be useful for mappers just getting off their feet, and not wanting to bother with the somewhat difficult task of creating .game files and such.  From PlanetQuake.com:

Added support for loading both .ent and .def files at the same time.

Added Enhanced Texturebrowser (ETB)
Added shaderplug, accompanies the ETB

This might be wrong though... Although the change log says Tremulous was added, it seems to in fact be the only one in there that wasn't t.t

The Tremulous support for 1.5.0 includes LinuxMikeManC's patch. I haven't checked if the trem.game files etc have been added, if they are not it might be a good idea to submit them asap  :D

Tremulous files for GtkRadiant
« Reply #7 on: January 23, 2007, 10:27:14 pm »
Hi everybody!

Yesterday I made some review and made new .zip packages for the files GtkRadiant need for a full Tremulous Support (default_build_menu.xml, game.xlink, default_shaderlist.txt, entities.def and trem.game) that can be found here: http://warrior.memebot.com/gtk/trem-gtk-files.zip (this file now contains some Quake 3 tutorials that were missing in the other packages I have found).
The http://warrior.memebot.com/gtk/common_files.zip includes the common shaders and pictures for them.
The most important: I post about it on the Gtk official Forum so they can add it in their next version. My posts are on that topic if anyone wants to see the full history: http://www.map-center.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=592 and "namespace" said it will be merged before the final Gtk release ;)

missing turret model

Thanks, vcxzet! (now I can see turrets in my Gtk lol)
Perhaps do you know how to fix the following two missing textures?
Code: [Select]
Texture load failed: "models/buildables/overmind/pod_strands"
Texture load failed: "models/buildables/acid_tube/pod_strands"

copy
models/buildables/eggpod/pod_strands.tga
to
models/buildables/overmind/pod_strands.tga
and
models/buildables/acid_tube/pod_strands.tga
in a pk3 files for example add to the common-mgturret

but you dont gain much

Done (I created one file called common-pod_strands.pk3 with the pics). Thanks again. It was only a detail though.

Update: Added the missing team_alien_hive entity to entities.def.

maybe devs should create a mapping pack composed of still models
(the animated ones are using the 1st frame which makes them look weird)
