This is just a matter of opinion, but I feel that the Granger projectile ability is slightly out of place. You see, this promotes BATTLE GRANGERS, people who think that they are ready to take on bases as our 6 legged green friends. This ends up with them being totally pwned, they are chased down and owned.

This whole BATTLE GRANGER is totally against the idea of builder, projectiles can be so annoying for humans. To counteract this problem, maybe reduce the rate of fire, or damage. Or just get rid of it completely...

But still we have to get back to the point of a builder.
1) BUILDERS are not WARRIORS
2) Builders should avoid conflict as much as possible.
3) Grangers should prefer to run from humans rather than go for bases
4) Grangers are simply a kill on 6 legs.

So, I suggest introducing...

PEPPER GUM SPRAY!!!

This would hold  human down for about 6  seconds, and blind them for 3 of those seconds. It would work like the Basilisk spray, maybe slightly further.

This would give some time for grngers to run away, so that grangers get back to their original point of running and building, and not going gung ho for the base.

So, this attack will be about 6000X better than basilisk gas, then.

I do agree with you on removing Granger spit, though.

The few times it's been useful against an errant jettard certainly hasn't been worth the hordes of battle grangers intent on taking the fight to the enemy.

The specs ive suggested arent anything to go by, its just a guide on what I believe it should do.

If anything, how about make granger spit slow humans down like when they walk over creep?

It does, or at least, it should have. Next version fixed that bug and now the granger spit will slow humans as it was intended.

Excellent, then this is kinda uneeded, cos really all i wanted was to get rid of mighty warrior grangers, and have builders instead.

Slowing down is ok, but even still, down long corridors, there really is  no point as ur dead anyway.

Granger spit is actually pretty useful for poisoning unarmoured attackers at range. Pop out, deal a delayed 25 or so damage (or waste a medkit) then pop back behind the tubes while it works its magic.

Or alternatively, we could all go play tremx and use advanced marauder barbs in stage 2.

The best way to get rid of battle grangers would be to just make their spit work only while they're on creep. Up the damage a tad and add the slowing ability, and granger spit will be used for what it was originally supposed to be used for; a pinch base defense to protect until help arrives.

blasters are better than grangers every time tho

Just make it do something. All it does is fly out, occasionally hit, then sit pretty on the floor. If it were to either:
Slow down hummies like creep does
Trap hummies
it would be more usefull. It could also be direct fire. It doesnt do enough right now to do much harm, why not make it follow a strait path rather than an arc. The goon barbs make sense in an ark, they are a flying missle of death, but a thing that does 5 hp damage?
