Bindings.
WAIT, dont press 'Back' yet.
I cant understand what the manual tells me, and what others say.
Basically, what do I need to type into the console to...uh...to make my character say to everyone "BACKUP !" with Arrow Up.
If you could tell me what I would need to type in so that happens, I would be grateful.

/bind uparrow say BACKUP
if you want it on  teamchat
/bind uparrow say_team BACKUP
use ^(number) for colors

There has been threads before about binds, but still...

You can also modify binds way easier when open your autogen.cfg from your Tremulous/base folder  with notepad/wordpad etc..

Open it and just add binds to the end.. For example here are my bind controls and Lavas armory binds (or was it maci.... well thank you anyway)

Here you can see all the buttons and what they do. You can always change the text/action

Only throw grenade bind is missing

Rofl @ tech head.
I have 6 rename binds, 4 binds for my Muteall and Unmuteall buttons, 1 bind to kick unnameds saying Please change you name and come back later, 6 tactical gameplay orders, commands, and replies (Yessir, Nosir, OM/Reactor down, Base under attack etc) and one bind, wich is my _ONLY_ public chat bind, saying ALIEN HAT!! For when i'm sitting on someone's head as an alien :>

Oh, and my most recent bind. !slap glun 0 ... So i can slap myself about harmlessly and fly xD
(Bit cheaty, really, but I only use it in lolgames, or when i'm in too good a mood not to )
