Just a few things.

Hydra gas going through walls is pretty lame. Don't know if it qualifies as a "bug" but I think it should go.

Medstation ought to cure poison.

Chimera lightning is a little too useful. By itself it's not bad, I'd say the damage is just about right, but since it hits automatically a chimera can just bounce around dodging shots while taking down everything around it. Increasing the reload delay enough to make choosing between the slash and lightning for human targets a tough decision ought to fix it.

I ran into the "broken evolve button" and "no credit cap" bugs again, but still have no idea what causes them. I'll pay more attention to these in the future.

Still need to fix the bug that if you dead and you observe, you have to leave then team and re-join.

Chimera lighting got anoying  :)

Sometimes, the evolve screen didn't show for aliens.

One match on Tremer, the aliens had an upgraded dragoon in less than a minute.  The aliens won in less 4 mins.  Mabye there should be a time limit for getting goons and big mofos and large weapons early?  :)

i think that norfs right about the chimera... just up the timer a bit, maybe 3 secs?.

as to the hydra, the gas is fine as is... it doesnt go through walls persay, i think it goes 'around' them.. hard to explain. In the game where this became a problem, the hydra was camping next to the door and looking into the room, so the gas went into the room while we couldnt see/shoot him.

i disagree with tyler on the classes thing. its fine to have high classes in the beginning.

I've increased the delay to 3 seconds and also reduced the range by 1/3rd to 200 units.

Hmmm. I can't think what's causing that, very odd.

You think this might have been that you had 2000 credits, then sold all your equipment?

(Also, add grenades that cost 200 each <.<  >.>)

add some code to cap off credits, might fix the issue with credits... the evolve thing seams has happened to me once, i solved it by joining another team, ie spectators, then going back to my orig team. but i lost frags/creds that way.  which brings me to a point about ghost codes or a similar method, my internet gave me some issues and i had to dc with 1700 creds, a bsuite and luc cannon.... thats a big loss. maybe we can forget about equipment but id like to see a feature to help with getting back the creds (or as aliens, frags)

you said something about binding values to IPs, interesting but trouble some if there are two people on one out going IP (lan, or diff players at diff times)

idk, that needs to be discussed at some point

My evolve button stopped working when Norfenstein's button stopped working and I think that the previous times that I had this bug, Norfenstein also got it at the same time.

I could stil operate doors on the uncreation map with the evolve button when I was unable to get the evolve menu.

Is there a manual command to get the menu or change class?

It might be a buying and selling bug, but this last time I distinctly remember looking down and having well over 3000 credits while completely decked out. I think it's more likely to have something to do with getting credits from eggs and overminds because it seems like it only happens when I'm plowing aliens left and right with high equipment.

Molog brings up a good point, the broken evolve button tends to happen simultaneously with more than one person (last playtest Whack said it happened to him at the same time I had it).

I really think the "no credit cap" isn't a bug, because when selling items there is actually no credit cap.. on purpose. However, since everybody seems to perceive this as a bug I've added a cap here too. If you manage to get over 2000 credits now there truly is a bug.

As for the broken evolve button bug, I'm fairly stumped. I've added a console command to provide some debug info. Next time it happens, execute "evolvebug", condump the spew to a file and send it to me. It's probably a good idea to bind to the command, so that you are able to execute the debug code as close to the occurence of the bug as possible.

One thing I'd like to note: Whenever the evolve menu button stopped working I could still evolve by using the 'class' command, eg by using 'class chimeraupg'.

One small thing: Remember how lightning was added to reactor to stop an alien from getting on top of it and slashing it to death. The lightning doesn't really work. It does good damage on the bottom, but on the top of the reactor it does 0-2 damage.
