Look, I keep coming across this one phrase whose definition I cannot locate.
"Unlagged"
Call me a noob if you wish,
but I tried to find what it means and couldnt.
So...what is 'Unlagged' ?

Unlagged is a server mod (there are some client parts to it too, but they aren't as important) that makes all hitscan weapons (including melee attacks) hit as if the attacker had 0 ping.

Cept it doesnt. It does make dodging lucy cannon blasts easier. But it certainly doesnt completely fix hitscan for people with lag.

yes it does, unless you happen to have more than 500 ping all shots from hitscan weapons will be calculated against the positions of players at the time the shot was fired.

the other day i was playing at 150 ping with unlagged on and my goon chomps didnt sound like they were hitting when i was touching the human model. so either it isnt all that great for >100 or you dont hear the sounds you should
