Risujin has a model and is currently adding it to the Balance mod (I think).
I, personally, think that he should insert the Fletch into the base and make a mod without all of the new weapons and options, just the new alien and maybe those defence droids.

Now seriously, a flying alien should only be available in s2, because than the humans have there jetpacks. This is the time when you need them. If you would have the flying alien in s1 the naked would stand no chance and the hummies would be killed easily.

that's the dev's thoughts, and I guess we don't care about them right now, noone is suggesting we put it into the base version of tremulous, they'll all be mods, and trem is open source so noone can stop people from making flying aliens

Personally, i think that a weak, direct firing stage 1/2 alien attack would be the best.  It isn't powerful enough to kill, just to knock jettards out of the sky.  Also, if it has a direct fire, no arc calculations would be neccesary.
