I had one little idea while playing Tremulous last night... (aest)
What would people think of a burrow ability for some if not all of the alians? What I mean by that is that latter in the game they could hide underground in certain areas of the map, only to pop up when a human goes past? What do people think of that? I asked a couple of people before coming here.. they seemed to like it, they said it reminded them of starcraft...
Also a smaller second idea. Latter on in the game, could both races (or just one) have the ability to built teleporters of sorts.. For example the alians could have a pair of buildings, linked together in pairs, that alians could move quickly in bettween? And the same for the humans, but with some sort teleporter... For the alians this would be a good way of moving about the map and launching surprise attacks on humans... You could even have it so the exit tleporter for the alins requirs no creep to be in the area...
What do people say to these ideas?
Edit: Also what about a edited ban system? Wew as people can be voted to be frozen for say a minuite, and vote to silence?
