That's lag. You should probably uninstall any programs you installed since the lag started. It MIGHT have caused the lag. It also might just be the server you play on. Check your ping on that server.

This problem has been happening to me for the past couple of months.

My hits don't register, and i keep on freezing then seconds later i'll be 30 odd  frames ahead somewhere, usually dead (it tends to happen in battle alot).

Also..

Im having trouble with tremulous responding to my primary and secondary attack buttons / right & left mouse.

At first i thought it was my old microsoft mouse, so i went out and bought a logitech G5 gaming mouse, yet the problem remains.

Anyone else having similar trouble ?

If you have this problem, type /cg_lagometer 1 and if you see red bars in the lagometer graph on the right side of your hud, change server. If you have this problem on ALL servers, change your Internet provider. Case closed.
If my answer to your problem doesn't seem helpful, it means I won't help you until you show some effort to fix your problem yourself!
1.2.0 release's been delayed for 5:48:00 already because of stupid questions.

Not as simple as that...

For starters i have lagometer up, and when the freezing occurs so does the large red line on the lagometer.

Second of all, i live in New Zealand, and the only servers with decent ping are the Game arena ones. Everything else is 250+ ping.

I doubt it's a problem with my ISP as it only started happening approximately 3 months ago, yet i've been on that particular ISP for over 2 years.

To be honest i don't have a virus scanner at the moment, as im using a shit computer with no important files, and upgrading very soon.

I will d'load a virus scanner and see what i pick up. I'll post results here.

Hmm.

I'm on Linux, and have begun to get similar problems.
Sometimes I'm on WLAN, then that's the cause. But it appears using Ethernet, too. You also get to hear it from other people lately.

Is there something wrong with a recent TJW release maybe?

I've noticed lately (since recent tjw paches) that I see the "connection problems" icon at the ends of games and sometimes when someone I'm speccing dies, but it never happens during actual gameplay.
