The first one is Joan Chen, Shanghai-born actress who was in Twin Peaks and The Last Emperor, among other things.

As mentioned above, the second is the incredibly hot Mila Jovavich, who was in The Fifth Element, Zoolander and other stuff.

Both have done action scenes, had really short hair, and carried guns in the movies. Either would make a good female character model.

since most head models start of bald and then have the hair added, it would make life a lot easier to use pictures of a shaven headed woman as a reference. the only other examples i can think of are demi moore as "gi jane" (such a weak movie) and natalie portman in v for vendetta(much better movie).

linda hamilton's a great choice, she got the right mix of toughness and good looks. she was great as sarah connor in the terminator films. i'm going to see if i can find some more images of her.
