Aimbots are only effective on weapons that do not actually have projectiles. (IE Rifle, Lasgun, MD). Aimbots will not work with lucys or pulse rifles.

That's not true.
But : When using a weapon with a "slow" projectile you will
a) have to predict your enemys position pretty well for a pretty big dt
b) not be able to guarantee a hit.

But that doesn't mean that it can't be done.

I do agree with you there. If you are using a weapon that does use a projectile, dont expect to hit much.

The only reason why i posted this is because of helloweens incredible ability to dodge everthing that came at him. Especially his saw rushing skills. Nothing compared to mine of course :P

If this was the intent of your post, I would suggest posting a demo of him showing his dancing ability. Not the lack thereof.
As it stands right now, thanks to your demo, Helloween looks like a mediocre player with no potential.

I'm sure he's happy that you've posted this on a public forum.

Thats true, using trigonometric equations in your code, you can tell where the target is most likely to be by the time the bullet will reach him.

Ex, if a dretch is running in a straight line the luci will hit him.
but if the dretch changes positions after the shot has been fired it will miss.

ps, This is secunder on my friends account. ;p

Are you really accusing this guy of aimbotting?  I do like the name Helloween though.  Great band.  At least from this demo, I'd say his taste is better than his talent.

And myself I did watch this video, and seen no sign of aimbot.

Y'ou have to know somethink, a aimbot hit with ALL bullet you are firing.

Just take the example of an aimbotter with lightmachingun :

every bullet = 5 dammage
dretch = 25 hp => 5 bullet

Do you realize how many time take a rifle to fire 5 bullet ? the same time to fire one md shot, so you should killa dretch in 0.2 sec ...

So someone who kill 3 dretches with one clip is a good aimer, not a cheater, a aimbotter should kill 6 dretch with one clip.

Like a men who is killing a dretch, a basi and 2 others dretch in one clip, should be a aimbotter too.

So, often in ffa, many people say i m a aimbotter, and i usually use an half clip or an entire clip to kill a dretch (with a lasgun like 5 - 8 shot)... But they dont care about that, they are just focused on the fact they can't reach me because i killed them before so i must cheat ...

Since i play tremulous (october) i dident see a cheater. So stop with that.

No it wont. The aimbot does the aiming. You have to do the movement.

So ?

I usually kill goons with naked rifle man just cose i use good moves to stay far away from their chomp/pounce, i use straf/sprint/jump in some order which make me unhitable ... No cheat with that.

Cheat could be :

rate hax ===> unhitable cose they warp, lag, hitbox are wierd
speed hax ==> (i only seen that on hl mods) speed of movement and firing are huges ...
aimbot ==> you dotn have the time to see the aimbotter you re already dead.

Other way of ownage are skill, luck or lame way (lucy spam for exemple)

Yeah, I've seen him lay waste on the trem battlefields before too.  I suspect the poster hadn't recorded him before that armory got flipped by the Tyrant.  Must have been something earlier in game the OP alluded to here later which ruffled his Batman underpants.

Lmao @ that official pwner 1234 guy, what was he using? OpenGL ShitBot 1.1?

If you want to see some real botting, go play Call of Duty and bitch there. Memory bots galore. While now I'm a star 8) (I'm |AoD|Green|) I wish it wasn't in such a crappy thread.

I think if you want to see some hacks, play CS:S their used so often you cant tell the difference between a skilled player, and a noob using OpenGL hooks.

Is there a need to highlight the numerous aimbot threads?  I don't think so.  Nothing new added, particularly that can't be added to one of the more recent threads, so lock :)
