Ok, I know that I am either going to get a response of:
The gameplay is decided already, we have a plan! or
Tremulous is not ET, Gloom or Natural Selection

But I feel that there needs to be things team mates can do to help each other (apart from building bases).  What I love about some of these other games is that you can go a weak class with poor combat abilities, but without your help your team will have problems winning.

Playing tremulous the other night, while it was very nice to see how the game has developed (with some really nice alien and gun models btw), I was getting a bit bored and felt alienated (heh) from my team. There was the odd <teamsay> can someone build a defence computer etc but not much else.
 
As an example: How about things like medics and troops with ability to hand out ammo, breeder healing and ability to give poison attack (like a portable booster)?

These classes would be very vunerable etc so need troop backup.

Of course, if I get what I want here then ill be asking for top down rts views and panzerfausts :-)

I think the idea was brought up already...  but all thats come from it so far was that the adv. granger gets spit balls :(

hmm, I'm for more teambased combats more coop within the teams so I would think this idea is good. Can the once notl liking it tell us whats wrong with it??
