Logically, Timbo isn't requesting a ban, but asking for opinion on banning ban threads. So he shouldn't ban himself :)

How about some forum rules?
The mods never really do anything, and I get the feeling they are never sure if they should.
If there were some rules they would be able to lock spam threads, and ban spam-only accounts, and restore some order to this place.
