2 questions for setting up admin

i'm still stumped on setting up the server administration. so 2 questions.    q1. what do i name the file that i'm supposed to make

- Players reporting bugs which were fixed months ago

Look, unmaintained server have been major pain in the butt for the last 6 months for all the developers and veterans. What I wrote is the only thing I can do to help you without causing more pain to everybody else including myself. So please, go practice using your operating system and read TJW's guide a few more times instead of asking questions nobody is willing to answer anymore. All you need to know is in the guide.

Well ill tell you unlike the others here...

Ok what you do is make a .txt file in the Documents and setings\you\local setings\administaive data\tremulous\base\vm place and call it admin.dat wich the .dat is the new extention you put makeing it a data file.

That will let you make admins on your server

Ok this is what you do...

insted of the windows directory but it in here...

Library/Application Support/Tremulous/base/

then make a new txt file call it admin.dat the .dat is the new extention you put on the end to make it a data file  

That will work!

And also type g_admin into the consle and change it to admin.dat if it is still not working!

you're assuming that he wont maintane the server, if you tell him how to set it up then he can figure the updating out for himself, but, Death got to it before you
