GtkRadiant1.5 Error

I decided to try mapping, so i downloaded GtkRadiant1.5 like the tutorial said and did all the steps needed. i checked 5 times to make sure i didnt skip anything.

when ever i open the program (after everything) i get an error.

I click ok and get another error

so i went in
C:\Documents and Settings\Mark D\Application Data\RadiantSettings\1.5.0\radient.log and inside that was
Code: [Select]

Started logging to C:/Documents and Settings/Mark D/Application Data/RadiantSettings/1.5.0/radiant.log

It is talking about a game type of file, did you get the file trem.game?

It is essential to make it work, but if you have that, I would suggest wiping it from your computer and doing a fresh install of GTKRadiant 1.5. And when it finishes installing open it and see if it is in a working state before you start copying new files to it's directories.

yes i have trem.game in the right file and the folder named trem.game

i decided to install 1.4 and it worked

Currently 1.4 is better that 1.5, because 1.5 is still buggy!

yes you could say 1.5 is buggy at times. Even though you've closed all your walls up you still sometime get errrs about your map leaking, very annoying.

Glad to see it all worked out.
