Yeah, it does get outta hand sometimes. I don't use humies much or the lucifer anyhow, but I know you can get 150 health shots so quick it's not even funny.
And Para, I like the O thing with the notches on the side for charging power, seen that in only a couple games though.
Any of you who have played Unreal 2 would know about the Dispersion Pistol.
It's a weak weapon but a good example. You have 8 ammo, but it recharges. The primary fire is the luci's secondary, and the secondary is the luci's primary. It has 8 ammo, but it recharges. Lemme give an example:
It's got all 8 ammo. As you're charging, you see the ammo count go down.
Say you release it after it's charged up 8 of that ammo. You get a buzzing noise, similar to the luci's beep, only you can keep it held in forever. You get that much power in your shot, full power. Then, you must wait for it to recharge back to 8 to get another full shot OR you can hold it down again when it says there's 0 ammo left and it will take longer because the recharge rate isn't as fast as the secondary fire's charge rate.
So basically, a luci that you can charge up, but have to wait to be able to fire off a follow up shot of that or more power. So you can launch a 250 damage shot at normal charge rate, but if you wanted to fire another 250 shot right away, you'd have to wait 1.5 times or 2 times as long to charge it that much.
I'm not sure how well that can be understood, I can't think of a better explanation than that.
