Wahlhack? I never used a Wallhack!

I consider strange contact with the admins on the XXXXX-Servers. I played there for month without problems, and today i got kicked and permanently banned with reason "wallhack not wanted" from two of the servers. Just got kicked/banned and thus cannot ask why.

But i use the same executable as ever and have not changed anything. I never applied any "wallhack". Do you know why they think that of me? Is there a problem with my install-package? I use Windows und downloaded the installer from www.tremulous.info.

Is there a Problem with me or are these guys just completely crazy? I do not want to get banned from all servers.

XXXXX: hidden after speaking with admin

After speaking with admin, i feel like i have to say the following:
It is strange, that the game implies the possibilty of "wallhacks" and other cheats/glichtes/whatevers. One year ago, playing Trem was fun on almost any server and everyone was friendly. But today, on almost all server in central-europe, there are admins blaming players to do evil things, sometimes kind of wildly kicking/banning. I myself got blamed some time, but never i did anything evil (i do not want to talk of camping here, which apears to be a minor problem).

I think that emprovement of the security against those cheats/glichtes/whatevers would greatly increase the peace on the servers and prevent most of the conflicts. If i would be asked, which features i liked most in the next version, i would say that security against those things would be the best.

The Admins had recorded demos of the games and found out later, that they had been wrong. They had to look at different 2 demos to prove that i was able to see the dretch. Luckily they were very nice on their IRQ-channel.

Don't worry about getting banned.  It's a right of passage here on tremulous.

My suggestion? Just throw on some headphones and tunes, change your IP and nick, reconnect, and play stupid when they ask - "huh? wallhacking? what's that? I don't even have the painsaw or even near a wall".  If that won't work, find yourself a good proxy and DoS 'em.  I keed! I keed!
