Well, I can't model or code or anything, but I grabbed a bunch of pictures of (about) 5 or 6 alien calsses from SST (No plasmas, that'd unbalance the shit outta the game). I'll post the pictures upon request of a few modelers and coders who decide to take on the project. Just be sure to finish before 1.4  :P

Four warrior bugs(notice the last picture would be the taunt for all warriors, and that it's the second stage or third stage of a warrior bug; Warrior; Tiger; Royal Warrior; X-Bug...me thinks):

The Queen (I'm thinking the Overmind's gonna retire and leave the spot open for this beast):


And a (BABY) plasma bug (these ones would spit over their heads infront of them, projectiles would be slow but have splash damage-S2):


Also, a baby tanker would be nice (flame throwing scarab-S2 or S3).

Oh. Well....I'm making a StarShip Troopers map as a side project, I think it'd be cool, I like the look of the SST aliens, I think it'd be cool..um..I think it'd be cool.... ^_^;;

warriors bugs (4 different kinds/strengths), hopper bugs, worker bugs (the builders), baby plasmas (maybe), cliffmites, blasters, the list of possibilites goes on and on.

sounds neato. Playing as a tiny alienling was fun and boring. Playing as SST aliens will be fun!

Lol I thought you said SST (as in, the server name) aliens and I was like wtf...  :eek:

Oh, I know that movie! It's so cool! It has everything a good movie needs:
- a bad story, good story idea (:human:- "lets make a movie about aliens!" :helmet: - "Good idea!")
- Flying limbs (essential)
- Death, pain, explosions and bullets! (:human: died horribly, me - "Cool!!! :D")
- Happy ending! :D  :D

I don't think Tremulous needs this mod. It already has good aliens in my opinion. Ill rather watch the movie.
Nice idea though. Continue making your SST-map :D :D

not really. the hummies were only getting owned because there was a shitload more bugs compared to them. small arms worked okay. bigger arms worked better, as would be expected.

we should get that huge ass bug that shoots that enourmous projectile out of its behind!

So you guys are liking the idea so far?
(Bugs will be weak as shit also, one clip can take out an army so I suggest we find a way to set the teambalance as 2:1)

A rifle clip can theoretically take out 6 dretches.
A pulse rifle clip can take out 25.
To balance:
You start off normal, wimpy infantry.
Get cash to earn your shiny powersuit.
Powersuits aren't healed, they are repaired by human builders.
Medics get a (weak) gun, and a magical healing device.
