Well, I do NOT use any Tremulous cheats/hacks/aimbots of any kind. I don't know if this is true or not, but I'll have to ask HighTech about it. (If it is proven completely true I will consider quitting CBS, honestly, but I don't want to be known as a clan hopper either. Its a complicated situation.)

How is there not enough evidence that it is hightech spamming the forums with the wallhack url? Isn't that distributing cheats? Any forum mod can agree, my IP is NOT based in Florida, but Rochester, NY.

Among that, numerous other faults lie in hightechs attempts to lay any blame for cheating on me, just because I confront him and his clan, does not mean I also cheat.

Jabberwock can provide a condump of my and hightechs conversation also, I confronted him, and then hightech suddenly accuses me. He didn't know what to say when I told him I was using linux. Then he posts false screenshots, which are blatantly forged, I don't play on servers where i ping over 100, and I use a modified hud.

Good try hightech.

Knowing that some helmetless human is a few rooms away from your dretch in some direction does give them somewhat of an advantage. I question, though, how easily said dretch would get to the human when it can't tell between walls and passageways.

I'm not defending this things, I'm just bringing up the point of view that it might not actually help a player all that much and could hinder the performance of a more experienced player.

Most of us have played the default maps SO MUCH we know them by heart, and after a few games where you test the wall hack, you'll probably have no problem remembering where the hallways are. Let me tell you one thing, a dretch poping out of the side wall and biting you in the head is NOT FUNNY.

Also, wall hacks can be used to shoot through walls, so an md camping under his reactor inside teh floor, can shoot through most of the level in some maps, not too funny when you get shot inside your base or your eggs get taken out by a saw appearing through a wall and other things.

I know the levels generally, but I'm not sure if I'd be at my best with invisible walls and such.. it's little details in the surfaces that would take the edge off of my playing. I like to be able to see parts of the walls that I'm going to use to evade shots.

As for shooting through walls, that is really bad. Can you confirm that this hack has that feature?
