problems with running Tremulous
« on: September 17, 2005, 06:42:56 pm »
I installled Tremulous sucesfully. But when I try to run it I get this:
root@mac tremulous]# ./tremulous.sh
./tremulous.sh: line 3: quake3: command not found.
What's going on?. Don't I have something?.

It seems as if you don't have quake3 installed which you need to play Tremulous. If you do have it installed make sure you make a system link in a system directory(i.e. /usr/bin) so you won't get that error.

I thought it's a standalone version.
How can I get quake 3?. Can I download it from somewhere?.

As far as I can work out the Stand Alone version of trem is being worked on right now (gawd bless Timbo).  But at the moment it's just a mod for Q3... you probably can DL Q3 from somewhere, but not legally, so please nobody post any links on this forum (use PM if you must).  Alternatively you could buy it  :D
