Tremulous bandwidth usage?

Was just wondering if anyone knew the average transfer 1 person uses on a server.

not sure but i have noticed my download speeds halve when playing at the same time.

It all depends on the settings you and the server are using.

If you really want to know, install a network monitor.

I use NetPerSec on my Windows machines and RRDTool on Linux.  (Google them, I don't have the links handy.)  RRDTool requires a web server so MRTG may be a better choice.

I usually transfer 20 megs up/down on a 30 minute game with 18 players. But theres propably other stuff to factor in as mentioned before.

There is no way you pull 20 megabit's a second both up and down with only 18 players and one trem server.

jfyi: gui transfers 40MB/h or 11KB/s that reads UP and DOWNLOAD and means his TOTAL traffic is 11KB/s...
