when a granger enters the hovel... what does it do?
« on: March 10, 2007, 02:47:44 am »
personally, i think the hovel makes a great hotbox, and when someone puts their granger in it, the granger lights up.  however, im open to other ideas, because the granger must be doing something in there.

I call granger humping!

I say granger should be able to lay eggs from within the hovel.

But then hovels would need to be able to hold more than one granger.

...why don't they, anyway?

There's a T1 Internet connection in every Hovel, and the Grangers play Tremulous.

The hovel is just perfect for taking a little nap inside, especially if the humans are camping (more than usual, anyways).

Well, at least an "n" looks a bit like a "h" and in this case still spells a valid word. Which is more than can be said for the typos in my dissertation.

...and yes, I, the mighty battle :granger: hath gigabit fibre in my hovel.

Hovel is a decent hiding spot. Humans can't really tell you're there, even with radar, or at least I haven't seen anything. I've seen a game where 95% of alien buildings got destroyed but someone screwed up and forgot to kill a hovel.

Hovels could use small wheels or little legs, like some kind of grangermobile.

Strange how people think they're in the 'What I think hovels should do' thread.

My personal understanding of what goes on in hovels goes something like this:

['/,'] <-- Hovel

 :granger:  <-- Granger

['/,'] +  :granger:  = [':granger:']

Mystery solved!

Wait.. this  :hovel:  is a hovel...

 :-?

Now I'm stumped.
