I stumbled across Tremulous two days ago and I'm addicted. I'm still learning the mechanics and figuring out strategies and I like what I've seen so far.

Are there any downloadable sound files to replace the in-game sounds? Nothing sounds very realistic, IMO...

Found it in the mods sticky, but what do I do with it? Please forgive my n00bness. Filename is mod-fixedsounds.pk3.

That's where I have it, but I guess I haven't played on an unpure server yet. It was a really small file, too....I hope it's right.  :oops:

The }MG{MercenariesGuild server has the sound mod if you want to try it.  If you like it, ask whichever server you frequent to put it in their server's base directory, then it will work for anyone who wished to use it even if the server is set to pure.  Basically, the server won't allow you to load data files that the server doesn't have, so if the server has a copy of the sound mod it will work for anyone using it, but won't require that people use it.

I thought everyone instantly knew what he has in his right hand. I was assuming his 'other' hand is the left hand. Hence Rogue from X-Men.
