Hey guys, this is my first time posting.
Ive been searching the internet for zombie games...free 1s and i cant find any at all.
So the other day i was thinking what game would be perfect for a zombie mod and i realized it was Tremulous.

For example.
the aliens or humans in the game can have there skins changed, and made slower.

There could be some kind of AI for the zombies ,so we could play Co-op mode.

barricades could be made from the Aliens barricades, just by changing the skin into spiked wire.

The turrets in the game are already perfect for a zombie mod.

the armory skin could be changed into a gun rack, with weapons to choose from like Shot guns, AK-47, Knifes, torches and the basic  equipment for fighting zombies.

maps could be made, like Sewers, Labs, Urban/ futuristic zombie packed maps.

i dont know if anything about making MODs but its just an idea...Tell me what you guys think  :)

Tremulous is intended to be aliens vs humans. Tremulous will always be aliens vs humans. AI is possible but unlikely anytime soon. I like the idea though, unfortunately, Tremulous wouldn't be Tremulous anymore with zombies and AI.

this would be fun if it was like Zombie Mod in CS where you can be zombie or men.

Could be Zombie, Men, or Aliens. and Zombies kill Aliens because Zombies want to eat them. So it can be Zombies vs Humans vs Aliens

There is something you could do like the halo2 game zombies. Make it so whenever you are killed, you switch to the team that killed you, although that would get very linear very quickly.

that was i was talking about earlier, except it's easier to sneak up on someone in halo (i'm talking about humans vs humans). it the saw did't make such a loud sound, it rushed when you get remotely close to someone, and the map is extremely small with lots of places to drop down onto, then maybe it could work.

that'd be like fighting a critter

what I say is that if you are a zombie and you kill alien, then the alien becomes a zombie that looks like a headcrab

and if a zombie kills a human, he becomes a zombie.

And to make zombies better, they should not be able to be seen through the radar or alien dot thingie

At the beginning of the round, everyone but a single player is a human. All lightmapping is disabled, making the entire map extremely dark except in the areas that have non-lightmapped light, creating a very dark and scary environment(I mean, you're being chased by a lone zombie, which would not be very fun at all in a fully lit area).
The one zombie moves very slow, but has an instant-kill attack that turns the target into a zombie if they hit them(it's melee). The zombie team has FF disabled so victims have no incentive to kill their own team. Zombies are also extremely hard to kill. In the case of Counter Strike, they have 300 HP by default. To make it even freakier, the zombies emit a non-user-controlled moaning noise to give the humans a chance in figuring out where they are.
It gets incredibly intense near the end of the game when almost everyone is a zombie. The few humans left end up holing up in a crevice somewhere to reduce the amount of zombies coming through, as they mow them down with what ammo they have left. It's a great idea, and in my opinion, should be made into a standalone game of its own.
As a zombie, you have nightvision which allows you to see your victims but they can't see you. You're also silent when you move, which allows you to hide in areas and creep out behind them.

why not make it so you have to shoot it less if you hit it in the head? that seems to be a zombie must.

Silent as in they don't make footstep sounds. Even with the moan they're still hard to spot.
