Zubs, CU and OPP for scrims/skill. Zilla will be good if it decides to scrim again.  AoD is a nice non-scrimming clan.

This topic is pretty pointless.  Everyone knows which clans are good and which clans are not.  There is no 'like best US clan' until the aforementioned scrimming clans have had multiple scrims (with victories either way).  As of now we are all tied.

I would love to play CY with unlagged on. We had a scrim against eVo and they wouldnt compromise on any settings. They didnt even want unlagged, but because of our locations one team would get 200 ping.

I agreed to play on there server if they turned it on, but they wouldnt.

In a way, unlagged IS the middle ground, it attempts to correct for ping issues and makes it possible for Euro and US clans to play on somewhat even grounds.  When you're talking 150+ differences in ping between two clans, playing with unlagged is much fairer than playing without it.

Some guy last night popped into our server and told us to match his clan on SST server.

I laughed my ass off. SST ?

Anyway, I forget his name and clan.... maybe my bro remembers. It must have been a joke.

Also, I personally feel that our QVM is one of the most balanced as far as extra admin features and still keeping most of the base game intact. We have played on other servers where the goon pounce hits you from far away, etc. Very annoying and stupid. This is one reason we like to scrim on our own server. No funky settings. The only complaint we usually get is regarding unlagged.

I had Opp's then i switched to Lak's then i thought i changed it again but not sure lol.

Ive seen some admins have stage commands and more shit on some qvm's.

I mean is it needed to be able to just up your stage mid game at any point you wish to ?

lakitus qvm is pretty much close to ours except with his admin commands added he made. We played on SGA server back when and it felt like home.

I talked with aye(yahoo) later that night, there was no clan he said he was bored.  Glad we didn't bother.

Rabbitt, from what you've told me, you're running Laki's qvm, don't know if that's 100% true now, though.

These commands aren't part of the qvms, they are added into the admin.dat files by the server operators, and can be used with any current qvm, as far as I know. Don't feel that it's more unfair, because these little "cheats" could be done through rcon anyway.

Yes kory i think i am using Lak's but then again i had lak's on another macine and booted up the server to find when i went to decon it has anti decon or so cause nothing deconned it just allowed to build it else wheres.
Now using what i thought was the exact one i can decon anything at any point without having to second guess if i marked it due to it not marking with an x like ive seen before.

In NT, we scrimmed eVo once at our server, unlagged on. We won. Then we played at their server a bit later in the week and lost. Serdinho claimed unlagged was on, but none of our team could see the effects at all and we could NOT hit anything. Not only that, but it did not appear in serverstatus either. I'm told you can change what shows up in serverstatus, but I'm thinking they had a compatibility issue which I've seen before; unlagged is installed on the server and the rcon user has the command to turn it on, but it cannot be actually used due to other server properties. I tried to tell him that that must have been it because we could not hit anything, but it doesn't matter anymore, it was a while back. I don't have any issues with eVo clan anyhow, they're all cool people. But I'm a lot more cautious about whether or not unlagged is really on in certain server locations still. I've been in a couple situations where unlagged was said to be on but did not appear in serverstatus and the effects could not be seen, so I only believe unlagged is on when I see it in serverstatus.

These commands aren't part of the qvms, they are added into the admin.dat files by the server operators, and can be used with any current qvm, as far as I know. Don't feel that it's more unfair, because these little "cheats" could be done through rcon anyway.

Any decent experienced players will notice any stage cheating pretty quick I think.
