US vs Canada

I was talking to someone over Teamspeak and he said that Canada can take US all by there self, well really I dont hold this against anyone and not hating anyone I am just posting too see if this is true and what you think about it.
So post and tell us all if the US goes to War with Canada which I kinda hope not who will win?

actually, after we annialated them, subs would nuke us back.

The US has the 2nd largest military in the world.
Canada has the 60th largest.

The US has more Marines alone than Canada has soldiers.

The US Armed Forces spends about $522 billion annually.
The Candian Foces spends about $15 billion Canadian dollars annually, which works out to about $13 billion USD.

Even though the US currently has W in charge  :oops: , I'd say that the US would be a fairly safe bet.

Tired clichés aside, Canada is the world's 14th highest military spender. Which is a lot, considering we've got approximately the same population as California.

Of course, it's nowhere near the US's spending. But then, who is.

1 - US : 533 billion
2 - UK : 65 billion
3 - France : 60 billion
4 - Japan : 45 billion
5 - China : 45 billion
...
14 - Canada : 13 billion

You americans spend way too much money.

It's interesting that you mention that because apparently, Canada doesn't (currently) have any nukes.   Although, they could make some rather quickly if they wanted to.

Outcome: US nukes canada 200-300 times, Canada nukes US 6-7 times, we both get the same number of casualties due to population density; therefore the US spends more money on nukes than Canada thus losing.
+nuclear winter = US loses again due to population density.

Everyone is forgetting that while the U.S. is not doing well in Iraq, that means they are not good at rebuilding the nation. To quote a saying from the Daily Show: "We may not be the best nation builders, but we are still top notch Nation unbuilder."

Plus everyone hates the U.S. but it still matters to them. (no 14 hr days for 3 bucks a day making little plastic things.)
