feature request: different shadows for each class

i thought it would be nice to have different shadows for each class, so i started making some, however they dont always rotate with the model, humans seem to, grangers sometimes do, no other aliens seem to. I am also wondering if there is a way to set the shadow for different classes without altering code (ie. altering config files instead). imo they look quite nice with different shadows, i tested it by changing the shadow.tga on an unpure server. this pic will maybe give you some idea of what i mean:

what? all i am suggesting is changing the texture on the shadow beneath the player to one that more closely matches the model, it wouldnt hurt performance at all.

Stencil shadows are achived with cg_shadows 2, but they are bugged, just like cg_shadows 3.

I would like to see cg_shadows 2 and cg_shadows 3 removed alltogether.

you know, r_stencilbits also supports 16bit, and that comes with a ton of beautiful light effects, like purple halos around lasgun users, green halos around massdrivers, orange glow around the medipad, etc.
cg_shadows 2 is better than 3.
