Alliances between trem clans?

Two questions, the first one is just a question of mine and the other one is more for discussion purposes:

1. Are there currently any alliances between Tremulous Clans?

2. What is/would be the purpose of a Tremulous clan alliance if any?

2. The purpose is incase you have a clan battle or something, the other clan will stand up if you cant make it, or something happens... Alliances also battle in clan vs clan but they are mixed, Ex; Clan A VS Clan B VS Clan C is allied with Clan A, so Clan C and A are now on the same team VS Clan B

Personally I think all clans should be hostile to eachother. It would make Trem a lot more interesting and spark up more clan matches.

Yeah OPP and S/W Are on friendly terms.  As in we have scimmed them alot more than most others.  ALot of the time we have enough OPP on to scrim ourselvs. Which is cool.  As for saying you think clans should be hostile towards eachother I think hostile is the wrong word.  I would love more clans to be more competative, but still keep some sportsmanship.

Tremulous is not Halo's slayer. Tremulous is ultimately about killing bases, destroying the spawns, and coming out on top, not in kills necessarily, but in base destruction power. No matter how much you kill, you don't win if the game ends in a draw because you killwhore too much and don't worry about the enemy base.

I am glad im not the first one to mention this, but in tremulous kills don't matter as much as Winning.

No one cares if your alien and have 100+ kills but loose the game.  Iv seen alien rants pass the 100kill mark but loose and the top killer on humans has less than 70.  

As we all know you are a killwhore, based on the pictures you posted trying to prove ur good.  Also in your screenshots I dont see many decent players.  COME TO THE OPP SERVER AND ILL SPANK YOU///YOUR TEAM.

Btw I am the leader of OPP and you should watch who the fuck you talk smack about.  If you feel it important to do so come back it up.

You did say OPP is noobs. You were not specific you were general.  Also we have a complaint forum, if you have a problem use it.  Also I have never seen you on our server.  Ill check the log.

And smokey Id love to start matching zilla again, if we can agree on some rules to keep tension down. I have actually brought it up to the rest of OPP and we feel its been long enough for tempers to cool.  Also you quoted me out of context I was talking to evlesoa, who obviously needs to learn some manners.  Smokey don't denie youd have the same reaction if he said that about zilla.

No, no, no! i wont forget the moment where they were ass holes to me.

realize that if we are not scrimming or matching on our server, we are not being too serious about the game. if we want to play more seriously, we are usually at beergarden. i know i've been kind of bored of goofing around at our server sometimes, so i leave. you can do the same.

I like you.  My favorite wins are when I get less then two kills, manage to kill the OM and all spawns within the first 10 minutes.  Transit and arachnid are the easiest maps to do this in.  In transit make a few kills for a psaw then drop in the train kill the spawns; win.  In arachnid get a friend to come and rush the OM with rifle spray from up on the pipes, then kill the spawns; win.
