One change I'd really like to see is an increase in luci damage (so that it isn't only useful at full charge) and a decrease in the incredible spread.

I have no problem with the luci being damaging, it's a good tool later on. However, especially with the changes in 1.2 (slower regen and a push to make smaller aliens more fun) the area of effect is so huge that I can see it becoming a major problem.

In the current version, I've seen way too many instances of people killing four or more dretches in one shot while being relatively useless against larger aliens with lucis.

So I propose a reduction in area of effect, a better start damage leading to the same fully charged damage (or a faster charge time, which would accomplish the same thing) so that they can be effective against larger aliens (as the should be given their cost). For the smaller aliens, perhaps make the secondary fire a bit more powerful with no area of effect, I never see people using it at all currently.

The fact that humans can get so many kills with almost no skill (just shoot in the thing's general direction) is currently a problem as is the uselessness of the secondary fire.

lucis are powerful enough, 250 damage for a full charge! that's enough to kill and adv goon in one pop!
i can run faster than a luci. without sprint.try tjw's.

Yeah and also make tyrant not be able to attack basic riflemen so that noobs with no credits have a chance vs them.... You get the idea?

The rate that the actual luci "energy ball" moves is pathetically slow. It is easy enough to dodge pulse lasers as a dretch, I sure the hell don't need any more assistance avoiding a luci. At the same rate I don't need any more trouble trying to hit a dretch with a luci.
