From my Gaming blog http://www.the1qwerty.com

Check out my trem Skills base page http://www.the1qwerty.com/trem-skills/

For the next two weeks or so I will be bringing you a step by step tutorial on how to improve your Tremulous skills. I will update this post frequently so you can come here for the full run down of posts.

If you don’t know what Tremulous is about, and would like a rough overview of what Tremulous is then I suggest you read my Tremulous Review

I will use a variety of ways to help educate you on playing Trem, some of them will involve videos of actual in-game Tremulous footage to help give you a better idea of how to play better.
Other things will just be simple screen shots showing what I mean.

If I do show you game footage it will most likely be in the form recorded fresh from a Tremulous game. This is known as a demo, I will guide you through on how to play demo’s as the time comes.

Subscribe to my feeds to keep up to date with my Trem Skills programme

Hope you like it and enjoy it.

And how can we be sure you master the skills yourself enough to 'teach' it on to others?

So how is giving aliens a crosshair not cheating? don't get me wrong, I'm not sure it is cheating, but you don't consider it to be so I'd like to hear your reasons why not.

It's going to be included in 1.2.0.

The devs specifically marked the UI as non cheat protected so you could mod it.
Any maps not in the MG repo?  Email me or come to irc.freenode.net/#mg.

I don't really see what the big fuss is as about it, and as TRaK said it will be in 1.2 so we may as well start to get use to it.

This is however not the topic to discuss the hugely debated topic on alien cross hairs.

My personal view stands that I don't see anything wrong with having a Customised Hud, in fact you could say that adding the lagometer into the hud is also cheating since it is changing the default hud :o

That is irrelevant, like the rule on several server that makes secondary fire of the luci a kickable offence.

Please don't cite server-rules as a prove for it to be considered a cheat .)

Actually, I am on the side with crosshair not being a cheat.
I love crosshair for goodness sake.

That's pretty funny if that's the case.  IIRC Lava came on the Game Arena forums supporting chompers & his UI saying that GA couldn't ban players for Alien Crosshair.

Found it:

http://www.gamearena.com.au/forums/tremulous/thread.php/4015201

looks like that sprung from an earlier thread, but that's what I was referring to.
