OK, just a quick little suggestion, based on an observation.
Observation: Big Aliens (goons and rants) can really infect a Human team with
Plague (because they have the hit points to carry it into the human base and then run away and switch to another Relic). Also, they seem to be able to live with
Radiation for quite a long while, too, and carrying this into the Human base creates a toxic zone of death around the Armoury/Medistation area (since they're traditionally placed together). Add one griefer/n00b/afk on the Human team and you've got completely unbalanced play.
Suggestion: Port a couple of classic Quake/Doom weapons to Relics mod, to give Humans a fighting chance against
Plague &
Radiation (although competent Humans can use these Relics to their advantage if they wish). My personal choices would be: t3h
Super Shotgun, t3h
Nailgun, t3h
Railgun & t3h
Lightning Gun. Just for the Relics mod, not for regular standard Trem. Super Shotgun & Nailgun = Stage 2; Railgun & Lightning Gun = Stage 3.
I know it's a lolmod, but I think this could help Humans survive a bit, and give players a reason to go Human in Relics version 8 (which is a rant/goon killing frenzy, at times). I'd like a weapon I can TK a Plague-griefer with in one shot. Plus something to keep goons from bringing that stuff into my base in the first place.
XDAlso, since this is the most arcade of Tremulous mods, can you reintroduce the Arena Announcer and badges from Q3a? Say you kill the radi mara+ on top of the reactor. It'd be
