I've heard 2 people on my server complain of grapics problems when a tyrant is on their screen.  Here are screenshots:

Apperantly this is not a problem for all ATI users though.  Anyone else having the problem?

Just to help narrow it down a little, i am using a radeon 9000 pro with 8.18.0 drivers from ATI on debian linux, nothing new that affected my card in the latest versions so i have not bothered.

Yes i know it does not narrow it down much, but it's something hehe.

I'm using a true ATI Radeon x700 with Catalyst 6.3 drivers (8.231) on Win2k, and I'm having zero issues.

It's most likely a combination of 2 things.

- Card version
- Driver version

Updating Catalyst should fix most issues though. I find that people tend to forget completely about updating video software, so they run into problems when trying to run more advanced stuff then their card/drivers are meant for.

I got that once or twice in other games. I think it just happens when your overheating.

ATI doesnt suck, better image quality than nvidia imo. Although nvidia's latest are much better. But we're not here to start an ATI vs nvidia argument :p

Since it's such a large model I wouldn't be surprised if the poly count is pissing your lowly ATi card off.

Hey there!

This kind of errors appear in all types of 3d-games. They may be produced by overheating or damaged gamefiles. Maybe just a reboot will help.
Otherwise you may want to try downloading tremulous again. If that does not help, try installing another system fan 80x80 or 120x120 or a new fan on your graphics adapter...

BTW, nice game yesterday! ;)
