no new weapons

Well, the problem is this: When playing as humans, I can not get any new weapons out of the armory, they just don't show up. It's annoying to fight advanced aliens with a rifle. This problem only exists for weapons, not for armor or other stuff (jetpack, grenade, ammo).  Can anyone help?

:) I was once there also when I jsut started, don't feel to bad.   :armoury:  but you DO know that the rifle=the leetest weapon in the game? I mean you start with it, 4 free.

Yeah, it's pretty unintuitive.

I only stumbled across it on my 3rd time playing in a game lol

To evolve as an alien, press q if you have evo points (which you gain by killing humans; displayed in bottom right corner, 0-9) and select a type to evolve to. Different alien types require different amount of 'evos'.
