« on: April 22, 2007, 07:48:30 am »
i was doing some schoolwork in microsoft word and the computer started acting screwy so i closed the document, clicking "no" for the save changes to document thing.

now ive lost a fuckton of work and i need it back, i may sound like an idiot for saying this but there must be a way to get it back.

PLEASE HELP!

You said no when it asked you whether to save it or not ?
Good luck explaining that to your teacher.

( Been there done that. The most effective solutions are

1) Make notice to your teacher asap, ask him/her for a few days of extension.

2) Play silent, toil day and night redoing the work. Trust me it pays back later if you do it right. I spent 2 nights not sleeping after a power failure telefragged my work. I got 95% mark on that piece.

Again, good luck !

i think it could be still in the TEMP or temporary files folder. And I thin word saves the document occasionally by its own.

it does. Go to folder options click show hidden files and folders. Look in the folder the ur document was in. There you will find a half transperant document with part on ur documents name. oppen it.
