Okay mate sounds like you are in deep shit so heres what you gotta do: insert windows xp installation cd inside your cd-rom drive and reboot your computer, follow instructions given at the start and remember to format your vista partition.
im wasting more of your time than mine. Im making profit."

In six months Vista will be what they should have released.
In one year it will be decent.

This old thread on the topic might offer some solutions. I haven't upgraded, so I can't offer anything else myself. :)

... Linux will be the most common OS in the world.
If my answer to your problem doesn't seem helpful, it means I won't help you until you show some effort to fix your problem yourself!
1.2.0 release's been delayed for 5:48:00 already because of stupid questions.

You mean *nix.
Code: [Select]
Linux: ~/.tremulous/base/
Mac: ~/Library/Application\ Support/Tremulous/base/
Windows: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Tremulous\base\

Actually the average user prefers Windows or Mac. Nerds/Geeks or whatever you want to call them prefer Linux. No I can't prove this in any way, but we all know it.

I'm not sure why Woo_Hoi didn't realise that this would instantly turn into a windows Vista flaming thread.
Seriously though, Vista sucks ass at the moment.

Yeah  :P
And ReactOS has been around for a LONG time and has been creeping, I still get more BSOD's in it than I did in MS Win98, but maybe in another 10 years it'll replace Windows?   We can hope for a stable OS to run all my DOS and DirectX games...

Because he had legitimite need to ask a legitimite question. One would hope that people would keep their opinions to themselves or that moderation would take care of it, if he didn't know that he stumbled onto OS Fanboy territory.

To make it run, put it in XP compatibility mode. And stop with the anti-vista propganda, the only thing XP does better is lag, bug, and generally piss you off.

Well. I don't need take a think. All about Vista is commerce. Sell at all cost. And very few stuffs for user, but very much stuffs for content protection. And when i legal user? I have legally Win XP Pro Oem... And what is Vista? I need WinFS and other good things, and no 3D Aero and other facelifts or stupid content protection. Who need arguments, located here: http://www.cs.auckland.ac.nz/~pgut001/pubs/vista_cost.html#quality

Don't know how, but it wont work.

What you need is drivers for your graphics card,  And as no one has made any, your screwed.

Vista is not compatible with any OGL games. This includes tremulous.
Maybe if you wait a few years for them to finish it...

In 6 years, and not most common, but with MacOs and related will have almost half of market.

Well... at least in the other time line. Perhaps it will be better in this one :)
