I agree that tyrant spam should be illeagal. After a long line of failed attacks and out-right feeding, it's not fair that I should have to deal with tyrants blocking every hallway. I'd use my luci to force it to move but I very rarily get a luci because I use up all my creds as soon as i get them. On the off-chance I do get enough to buy a luci, I'll just fire it constantly down a corridor while the tyrant just waits round a corner till I'm done and charges me. If only I had teammates with lucis to fill the reload times with more spam. The trouble is, my teammates were feeding just as much as I was.

Just in case you don't see my point, try to remember who gave them those lucifer cannons in the first place. Maybe you might want to blame your teammates for giving them the advantage.
However, if you happen to end up with endless streams of luci balls flying down your only path to victory, you might want to make cookies or play backgammon while you're waiting for the human team to attack you. They will if you make them think they can. Unless of course they don't want to win that game, and would prefer to play the 'Make people bored' game. I suck at that game =(
As for humans who don't like it, I'm not suprised. I personally don't tend to spam since it's more helpful to catch aliens when they don't expect it (Spam is too predictable). I even manage to catch my own teammates off guard occasionally. =[
