Balance mod Human spawn problem
« on: May 03, 2007, 07:35:05 pm »
Hey community

I got a server with balance mod running, but when I spawn as humans, I spawn in a wall or in the ground or something, and I can not move. I wish to spawn in the telenodes, not in the wall. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Edit: ok, It just looks like im in the wall, im not. Is there a way to actually see what is going on? it looks like im VERY close to the floor

balance mod should have console command for third person view (cl_thirdperson or something)
You might have bug in layout or something.

I remember this bug. If you try to spawn with a ckit, does it crash?
You could try replacing the balance game.qvm with one I compiled:
http://www.bandstand.org.uk/~benm/trem/custom-builds/balance.qvm
(rename it of course)
Use tjw's tremded with that VM if you don't already. Then pester Risujin to recompile the game.qvm on his website.
Don't overwrite anything, because I can't guarantee this will work, it's just a thought.
