Any special config?

Do you know why I can't alt-tab out of the game?

First I thought it was related to Quake III engine so I looked at settings to find something usefull. I came out with the win_noalttab variable.

Tried to change it's value in cosole by doing:

/seta win_noalttab "0"

But it didn't work. Anybody have any idea how to solve this issue?

That would make sense. It's the same for ET.

They had to make something called "ET Minimizer" for alt tabbing to work.

But I didn't want to use that. So I play ET in windowed and I can alt tab.

It definitly must be a Q3 engine thing.

Can you bind another key to lose focus in Linux?
Because i could really use that function and i tried every key but none work..
(I'm not familiar with the Q3 engine, is it like the CoD engine?)

Uhhh... no. Q3 = Quake 3 = A few years BEFORE CoD.

Activision probably used Q3 as a BASE for CoD, but it's not the same at all.

alt+enter should toggle fullscreen
"r_fullscreen 0" will turn fullscreen off
"toggle in_mouse;in_restart" should toggle mouse focus (haven't tested this myself)

I just tested on Windows XP.

Alt-Enter Toggle Windowed Mode

When windowed, you can Alt-Tab to other program.

To get back to game, Alt-Tab back to Tremulous and Alt-Enter again.

Works flawlessly.

Thanks for your help!

Alternatively, http://r-1.ch/r1trem.7z modified Windows client with various fixes here and there including alt+tab although you need to be running trem at your desktop res (possibly fixed in future relase). Note, since this uses latest trem svn code, source 'local' will search internet and vice-versa.
