problem with tremulous standalone

cant start the game i dont know what it is but heres what it says in the console

i have added /usr/lib/ in /etc/ld.so.conf but that didnt work

What is the output of:

$ cat /etc/ld.so.conf

For me it is:

include ld.so.conf.d/*.conf

I run the nVidia glx drivers ... what drivers do you run ?

Seems opengl isn't working on your system. Make shure, your SDL has been compiled with opengl support. You may also try to copy/link the libGL.so.1 to the tremulous directory. If that works, check your ld.so.conf settings.

i will chek this tonight when i have time and se if it works to move(link/copy i ment ) that file

and i use nvidia glx 1.0-8756

its quite strange  other gl aps works like muppen64 and my gl screensaver also works

edit:
it seems that i dont have libGl.so.1 only as a link to libGL.so.1.0.8756

Looks ok ... where is libGL.so.1.0.8756  and  libGL.so.1 located ? wherever it is located, that directory should be included in /etc/ld.so.conf (make sure you back it up before changing it) For example mine is located in /usr/lib/nvidia and that line should be in /etc/ld.so.conf (or in my case in one of the files in /etc/ld.so.conf.d as dictated by the include ld.so.conf.d/*.conf )

Also, did you try to copy the link libGL.so.1 into the tremulous directory (make sure it still points to the libGL.so.1.0.8756) ... it might just work.

I'm assuming "SDL has been compiled with opengl support" as fader said. Can't think of a reason why SDL would not have been compiled with OpenGL support, but who knows.

libGL.so.1 and libGL.so.1.0.8... is located in /usr/lib

yes i tried to move libGL.so.1 into tremulous directory but it dint work

i find some kind of logg in /var/lib/nvidia
