Where Do I Put......

Ok i have downloaded Atcs3 and when i extract it its a bunch of folders.
Id love to get this into my map rotation to play it but i cant figure out how to install or unzip it.

Sorry for the noobish question but i cant figure it out.

Don't unzip it.
Just put the pk3 in the base folder.
Any maps not in the MG repo?  Email me or come to irc.freenode.net/#mg.

Thats what i thoguht also but there is no pk3 file to be found.
It comes as a zipped file and when extracted it has 4 folders

Rename it.  Change the .zip to .pk3
A pk3 file is just a renamed zip file.  In fact, you can unzip all of the pk3 files :)

Once again i got it and its the same thing.
Should i just save it to my base folder when i click the link or what ?

Download it from http://mercenariesguild.net/base/map-atcs3.pk3
some browsers can tell that is is a zip file and will automatically rename it to map-atcs3.zip of something along that line.  Change it's name back to map-atcs3.pk3 and then put it in your base directory.  Sounds like you may be on a MAC, is this the case?

nope windows xp sp2.
it downloads as .zip so i should just rename the folder thats zipped to pk3 ??

The pk3 should contain folders such as maps, levelshots, scripts and textures.if it does then rename to .pk3 and wack it in the base folder.

i have this problem in IE when i try to download .pk3 's they're .zip 's and when i try to dl .qvm 's theyre just plain files >_<

download firefox (free) and download them from firefox. Fixed.
