cursor disappearing

whenever i join a server and i dont have the map that is currently beeing played i end up with the normal error screen "map not found blabla" but my CURSOR is gone and i can only kill the game and restart since no cursor no good ...

please fix

Thats a known bug, it will be fixed in tremulous 1.2

On linux switch to a VT and do killall tremulous.x86 and then kill X the same way.
On windows do ctrl-alt-del and logout
Any maps not in the MG repo?  Email me or come to irc.freenode.net/#mg.

that is such overkill...
drop down the console (press ~) and type ui_loading 0

Of course if the console works,  when ever I have this problem its because the game has crashed.

that's an uncommon problem, by far more common is the bug where ui_loading doesn't get set back to 0 after failing to load a map.

I always get the uncommon ones :(
Although for me its usually caused by me doing something stupid to crash it...
