[Request] Friend Trying to Run Server, Help Please!

Ok... things my friend needs to know are:

Setting Up Server:

Unlagged (Where to get, since main page doesnt have or how to activate)

Map Rotation (How)

Server.cfg (How to get it properly working)

Installing TJWs Server mod + game.qvm (with share)

Installing SVN patch?

and Finally... Server Min / Max Rates

Oh thats SOOOOOOOOOO useful...

Maybe it IS true, in NS atleast they dont tell you RTFM as much they do here... Its true, it has to be true... so many people from NS complain that the tremulous community just says RTFM RTFM go look it up, its somewhere around here with this issue...

But w/e i mean its not like you helped me... the problem is I cant DOWNLOAD unlagged from Trem.info so how do u expect me to get it if it isnt there?

And trem.info died ages ago.

Dude my siblings have NOTHING to do with this... Here is a clue... http://NMKO.CO.NR is where my friend is at, and his name is ROBERT and he is HellZ KO Hoster... which is soon to be up probably... so the point is... We are trying to figure this out!

Oh sorry...

But no my friend robert is giving up now, i mean... this is pretty complex. Honestly, how do you feel trying to run a server that needs like 3 different patches, a mod, installation and all that... its a pain in the ass + you need to config... i dunno i mean we might run a server, i just dont know how to figure all this out its a lot of work we been playing around with it but cant seem to get it right with the parameters when using the cmd and we followed exact shit as it says in the manual... :(

1-10 starting a ded server with up-to-date files is a 8.5 or a 9...

Sounds fair enough... i mean i cut my bullshit a while ago... anyway, i mean il try and look around some but this is not easy i can say. And why did trem.info die? What happened? All the good server files and stuff was there...

Perhaps on Windoze. Setting up an up-to-date server on Linux is 2/10 on Linux and takes less than an hour assuming you know what you're doing.
