I have the maprotation.cfg with all the maps listed but for some reason my maps dont cycle. What am i doing wrong? i loooked in the manual and dont see anything else on it. Plz  help :cry:

58 VEIWS AND NOT A SINGLE REPLY.... :evil: is there a guide to running a server i am missing? pls help me i am gunna get a good server running on a t1 line. just need the command. Plz post back.

On linux:

tremded +set dedicated 2 +exec server.cfg

On win32:

tremulous.exe +set dedicated 2 +exec server.cfg

To customize edit the server.cfg and maprotation.cfg files in your tremulous base directory.

:cry: It still doesnt rotate when i vote next map. also it would be nice if i could get a list of server commands..

You don't want a full list of server commands, you want the much shorter list of *useful* server commands. I dont know if there is a proper list yet, but try typing g_ in your console then hit tab. Hours of fun.  :D

maybe post your maprotation.cfg ?

when server is running type in console /exec maprotation.cfg

that should execute the config maybe then it will work??? idk but worth a shot

Please paste the contents of your server.cfg and verify that it is actually being executed (you must have +exec server.cfg on the command line).
