What the admin says, goes. Though some admins can be reasoned with and some just plain aren't fair, there's little point 'fighting the power'. It's alot easier to simply play on another server.

Vote-kicks are only a temporary measure at best (for when the admins aren't around) and can easily mean the kicking of some innocent player.

KobraKaine chose to make a private attack, and caveman made an open one. Either of them could have shrugged it off, not letting it bother them.

That's true, and I agree.  If he can catch me again using my new IP and name, he is free to kick me.  Until that time, I'll continue to enjoy the Wrath Servers.

Righto, first thing anyways, he probably sent you a PRIVATE message for a reason. Perhaps he didnt envisage it being stuck up on the forums for everyone to laugh at and flame him for. The reason why I did went public with that shit is really simple.
I banned 2 clans for that. Sooner or later some whining would have started up, and I was prepared to just let it go.
But you guys know me, as soon as any Moron starts making demands on any server-owner I am the first to hit them, no matter if I like the server or not .)
I just will not stand idle while morons such as this try to behave like they are the world-police, especially not in my house. And "enforcing the rules on a friendly Clan vs. All war" on my Public server is plain stupid.
But it's more stupid imho to think I just swallowhis insults w/o going public.
Any other reply to that PM would have led to a game of ping-pong w/o doing anything. And the next time something happens one of these ping-pong-PMs would have gotten quoted. So its best to bring it out in the open, right in the beginning. This way nothing can be misconstrued. (It was already said here that _Private_ messages are non existent on the net.)

No, he really didn't do the right thing, but there are very few people of merit that I've seen play Wrath, so I'm cool with staying banned.
