GTK 1.5 saving problems

Hi all, it seems that there's something wrong with my GTK radiant, because when i try to save a NEW map, it doesn't save. Does someone know what the problem could be? (if you need more info then this, tell me how and where to find it and i will post it )

Dont try to save in read-only folders? :=P

hmm lol, i'll create a new map to see if it works if i save it in there
Would be funny if that was the problem xD

Edit: it seems like that actually is the problem, but more because of vista. Everytime i decheck the read-only thing, it resets >.>. As long as i'm using gtkradiant, it's like that. Help?

Anyway, it's a problem and i can't fix it myself as i don't know the password of the administrator to give myself the ability to unlock them or something like that

hmmm

back to the topic at hand...

have u placed any brushes in the map jet, i had that prob to.

if that still doesnt work then just try:
copy and pasting other maps in your /base/maps folder
rename them to what you want
open them up in radent
del every thing inside
start a fresh and save it on to the coped file.
