Abnormal Crash
« on: April 12, 2006, 05:14:47 pm »
Hello guys,

sometimes I get a real abnormal crash. It's not that i just get an error and get bashed to the Main Menu, no, my whole Windows crashes. The screen suddenly freezes, my computer doesn't respond for about 5-10 secs and then I land in Windows. But my windows is fucked up since 80 % of the screen is black, the window is divided into 20 or more little windows and I can't read or see anything, just some colored pixels. After clicking crazy on my Keyboard i either shut down windows or hopefully getting a relog screen. Then my windows is fine again. Well, I don't know why the game keeps crashing from time to time. Other games run smooth and without crashe, I really don't know what to do. My system specs:

AthlonXP2800+, ATI9600XT 256MB, 2 GB Ram (Infineon), S-ATA HDD, Windows 2000 + SP4 & latest drivers

Anyone else experiencing this problem? Thanks in advance  :)

Im not having that problem, but systme recently crashed hard.

I dont want to blame Tremulous, but has it been confirmed functional on win2k?
I also have win2k with service pack 4.

Anyone running Tremulous standalone and having no problems with Win2k??

I'm using win2k with no problems...

kinda sounds like video card drivers or opengl problems... dunno though.. It's been pretty smooth for me.
