Quick Question
« on: May 23, 2007, 03:52:49 pm »
Is it possible to use a different mapping program other then GTKRadient? I'm rather familiar with UnrealEd and with its finished maps, it exports to a .UNR file. Is it possible to convert this into a .MAP or .BSP so can be used in Radient? Vise-Versa?

No, you need an editor, which creates BSP trees. The format, which is used by unreal, goes a totally other way.

You could use the old Q3Radiant, QERadiant, or build your maps in Blender for example, and them export them as ASE models.

UnrealED is a sweet program though. If you ask the Epic guys reeeeeaaaaaaallllll nice, they might do you a free/cheap (these guys are pros remember) .unr to .map/.bsp converter.

I wouldn't count on it though.
